Camp two continues our focus on FUNdamentals, led by HumNow trainers Rob Smith Jr. and Joe Yenney. Our up-and-coming athletes will work on throwing, fielding, and hitting, while also learning how to be great teammates and coachable athletes. With help from local high school players, this clinic delivers high-energy reps in a fun, encouraging environment for Little Leaguers.

Rob Smith Jr.
Lead Instructor & Director
Robert Smith Jr. brings a powerful blend of experience, energy, and expertise to our camp. A former collegiate baseball player at Chabot College and Lewis-Clark State College, Rob is a two-time College World Series Champion, NAIA Champions of Character Award recipient, and was named California Player of the Year (2013–14).
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and certifications through NASM (including Mental Toughness), Rob has 8+ years of coaching experience across personal training, group fitness, baseball skill instruction, and collegiate coaching. His passion is helping athletes of all ages reach their highest potential—physically and mentally.
Rob is known for creative, high-impact training that builds strength, confidence, and athletic development. When he’s not coaching, you’ll find him golfing, hiking with his family, or perfecting what he proudly claims is the best cup of coffee on earth.

Joe Yenny
Lead Instructor
Joe Yenney is an Assistant Varsity Coach at Central Valley High School and a private baseball instructor specializing in hitting and infield development. Joe combines modern technology (Blast Motion, HitTrax, Rapsodo) with relationship-based coaching to help athletes build confidence, baseball IQ, and game-ready skills. A former collegiate player at Columbia Basin College, Joe is passionate about long-term development and creating positive experiences for every athlete.
